Aerosol masks are used for the therapeutic administration of a nebulized solution, humidity, or high airflow with oxygen enrichment. Aerosol masks have a large-bore inlet and an exhalation port. Oxygen masks provide a method to transfer breathing oxygen gas from a source such as a tank system to the lungs. These types of masks cover the nose and mouth.
